1. As well as its fortress, the Pieve, and the Duomo, San Leo is also famous for the mysterious and fascinating personage, Count "alchemist" Cagliostro, who was imprisoned in the fortress and died there in 1795.

San Leo ist nicht nur für seine Festung, seine Pfarrkirche und seinen Dom berühmt, sondern auch für eine ebenso mysteriöse wie faszinierende Persönlichkeit: den Grafen und Alchimisten Cagliostro, der in der Burg gefangen gehalten wurde und in ihr im Jahr 1795 starb.

2. Reconstructed with a beautiful Baroque facade after the earthquake of 1693 which flattened the city, the Duomo houses the relics of the Saint among exquisite chapels and altars and also many tombs, such as the ones of Vincenzo Bellini and Constance of Aragon.

In seinem Innern werden die Reliquien der Heiligen zwischen den wunderschönen Kappellen und Altären, sowie die Schreine (darunter auch der des Vincenzo Bellini und der Konstanze von Aragonien) aufbewahrt.
